History says this should endure through the weekend because on Sunday they welcome to Anfield one of their most generous guests of the Premier League era – Tottenham. Tottenham have won only once at Anfield in their 18 Premier League visits so far (and that was on 25 August 1993 when Teddy Sheringham scored both goals in a 2-1 win) and have returned south with a paltry eight points, leaving Liverpool with a massive 41. Liverpool’s complete club-by-club home record against each of the current Premier League teams is in the table below. Only two of the clubs featured have won more points at Anfield than they have given to the hosts: Manchester United and Blackpool. United have won nine times out of 19, lost seven and drawn three. Blackpool have won on their only visit.
