Hi Floyd, are you surprised that people like Cavendish and Wiggins are, or have been, happy to appear with Armstrong?

Paul.

Hi Nick. Great series.

Question for Floyd about that stage (Stage 17 - TDF 2006):

With approximately 70km to ride, Floyd makes what looks like a planned bike change. There appears to be no mechanical issue and TV commentators agree. Does Floyd remember why the bike change happened? He’s about the only bloke in the peloton (past or present) who’s answer I’d believe.

Cheers, Matt

Cheers Nick. I've just read the interview. Great as ever (both you and Floyd). Looking forward to part 2.

What is Floyd's opinion on the supposed "Enhanced Games"? https://enhanced.org/.

To me, I feel it's a non-starter. There'll be virtually zero incentive for an athlete currently doping (but passing) to make the switch. Further, even if it does gain a sufficient amount of athletes, when all the scores are comparable to the 'clean' Olympics (which they will be), what happens then for both Games? We know the Olympic bosses have covered up/relaxed high cases before, so I suspect it'll be in their interests to ensure this never takes off.

And on a relevant note, does Floyd believe current Olympic medalists/top TDF riders are doping?

What are the 'red flags' you look for among current riders that make you believe they are doping?

What percentage of this year's TdF riders do you believe are clean?

What's the single most powerful action the authorities could take to reduce the extent of doping, in cycling or in sport generally? And why haven't they already taken that action?

Hi Floyd! What do you think are the main drivers behind this years TDFs record breaking performances….? Is it tighter jerseys, more carbs or lightver shoes…? ….and btw 2006 TDF was one I still fondly remember!

Thank you. It remains an iconic cycling stage like no other.

Hi Floyd, Do you have a solution to stop doping, not just in cycling but in all sports? It just seems that so many are doing it and pretty much getting away with it. The sanctions lack impact and the excuses are often laughable.

Thanks,

Paul
