Wrexham's Hollywood owner: financial 'doper' moves onto actual drugs
The Welsh club's accounts are revealing, and so is co-owner Rob McElhenney's next project - 'The Doping Olympics'
Welcome to Wrexham AFC, the football club where one of the co-owners is going to use his considerable fame and TV production savvy to popularise the use of illegal performance-enhancing drugs in sport.
This fact is probably not going to be given any airtime in future episodes of ‘Welcome To Wrexham’, the smash-hit documentary about the rise and rise of the Welsh club under the stewardship of Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
But it has been confirmed that McElhenney and his More Better production company will work alongside Ridley Scott Associates to make a ‘provocative documentary series’ about the Enhanced Games, which have been nicknamed the ‘doping Olympics’.
