Malcolm Glazer's Bucs beat Randy Lerner's Browns, but win marred by TV blackout

14 September 2010 The 2010 NFL season got underway in America at the weekend with a win for the owners of Manchester United (the Glazers) against the owner of Aston Villa (Randy Lerner) when the Glazers' Tampa Bay Bucs beat Lerner's Cleveland Browns 17-14 in Florida. But the game was played amid concerns about lack of ticket sales by the Bucs. In fact the game was the first Bucs fixture since October 1997 to be "blacked out" on TV; blackouts happen when games aren't sold out, meaning the game isn't on TV in the hope that more people will come to the stadium.
