Global Sports Salaries Survey 2012: some international perspective

Sportingintelligence's Global Sports Salary Survey 2012 (PDF available) was published on Tuesday 2 May.

This year's survey was again conducted in association with ESPN The Magazine in the USA as part of a special 'Money Issue' project, which also included a list of the highest paid sportspeople from 200 countries.
One aim of the survey - aside from using the data as a starting point to explore the relationship between pay and performance - is to gauge salaries in as like-for-like manner possible in 14 leagues in seven diverse sports in 10 countries.
